Welcome to Bridge Steps Navigators
Helping families move from uncertainty to self-direction in the Self-Determination Program
Our Story: Built from Experience, Rooted in Support
Bridge Steps Navigators was founded by a mother who personally navigated the challenges of California’s Self-Determination Program (SDP) for her own children. From confusing paperwork to unclear guidance, she faced the same barriers many families encounter and through persistence and advocacy, she helped her children access services that truly reflected their needs and autonomy.
That journey inspired her to become an Independent Facilitator, offering families the clarity, compassion, and practical support she once needed herself. At Bridge Steps Navigators, we believe guidance should come from real experience. Whether you're just starting SDP or restructuring your supports, we’re here to walk beside you, step by step.
